Sometimes simple is best. The AimPutt uses a vertical alignment stick and putting gate to help golfers find a more comfortable, repeatable set-up and see the intended line more clearly.
Keith, this is a very interesting training aid. Thanks for sharing one question how wide is the gate what part dispersion is it built for which means how far away should it be from the Ball to get that?
Second as needed as it looks I believe it’s way too expensive. I would probably spend $50 for something like this just the gate in the stick but not $130.

I've looked at this for a while and decided it wouldn't work for me as my eyes are ~1.5" inside the ball (as I also learnt from my work with Bruce), so I imagine I'd struggle to make this work, as my eye position would make the stick appear to the right of the hole? Would your experience agree with that assessment Keith?
If it wasn't so awkward to post, I'd send it down to let you try it, but geometry would suggest that's correct. Trying both tests now, I'm getting very similar results.
Not significantly Bruce but it would be interesting to run myself through your profiles again. There has been a bit of posture change since we first worked together - sore back, getting older etc that has had some impact, but not massively so. I think this tool has just helped reinforce a better setup discipline.
What may interest you even more is that the putter that fits me best and is most comfortable when I do this test is the Lajosi we specified together nine years ago!

It's £60 here in the uk. The gate is about a ball and three quarters wide (just over 3") and I place it half way.
